New Hummingbird GoogleBot
By

website design

Yes you have heard it right… Google just released another algorithm a few days ago. After Panda and Penguin, we now have Hummingbird. What is up with the animal names?

What does it mean for you, your website and company?

=1= Fact one:

They are making everything much more complicated and the new GoogleBot is changing content marketing.

The new Hummingbird algorithm from Google is placing much more importance on the content and its value to the visitors than ever before.

You have heard us say it many times before “content is king with Google”. Well now “content is god with Google”.

With any drastic changes like Hummingbird, we expect to see changes in ranking for all websites regardless of their depth, their subject matter or their longevity on the web. Everybody is going to be affected either in a positive manner or negative. So make sure to track your site ranking over the next few weeks and months.

Hummingbirg Google New Algorithm
Happy birthday to Google New Algorithm… Hummingbirg

=2= Fact two:

Until now, SEO experts like ourselves would look at the most popular keyword searches and organically code the website to support these specific keywords and keyword combinations.

The new Hummingbird algorithm from Google is now encrypting keyword searches and is going to make it almost impossible to gain accurate data about keyword popularity. Many describe this new era, the “era of meaning and intent”.

More and more web searchers are using their smart phones and verbally ask their browser to search for something. They no longer type a handful of words, they actually say them into the microphone of the phone and even on their desktop. Voice searches are going to take over the Internet just as mobile devices did these past two years.

So here we are: Content, content, content, content and more content.

And yes of course no duplicate content whatsoever as it is still a big no-no for Google.
