To make it work for you, you need to keep it simple. Stay away for trying to be on too many social media platforms unless you have a budget to hire a professional SEO team.<\/p>\n

Since you only have 24 hours in your day focus on 4 areas:<\/p>\n

1)<\/strong> Have a professionally designed website<\/strong> which speaks directly to your target audience. Stay away from template websites. Though they are affordable, they do look like templates.<\/p>\n

2)<\/strong> Have a blog<\/strong> incorporated into your website. Yes blogs are back in favor with Google. Write a blog post twice a month.<\/p>\n

3)<\/strong> Have a business Facebook Page<\/strong>. Do not use your personal Facebook Profile to promote your products or services. Post once a week, like other people\u2019s posts, participate in discussions\u2026 in other words be visible.<\/p>\n

4)<\/strong> Have a Twitter<\/strong> account and tweet 4 times a week. One trick is to make Twitter one of your start pages when you open your browser. This way will not forget to tweet. Make sure to link back to your website whenever appropriate.<\/p>\n

These are the 4 basic online elements you should focus on for your business. Again do not try to do too much unless you have the staff or budget to do so.<\/p>\n
